The FFSL will expand to a 14 Franchise competition in 2010

Six Franchises have expressed an interest.

An announcement will be made February 2010, prior to the FFSL Draft.

It is understood, each new franchise will have the ability to sign 1 free agent from each existing FFSL franchise.

Existing FFSL franchises will be asked to submit there list of players and duration of contracts next week. It is understood that they will have to nominate 10 players in 3 year, 10 on 2 year and 10 on single year contracts.

A free agent will a 1 year contracted player.
